Gives results from free-run starter or light-load alternator tests. The high resolution, digital control panel meter is more accurate than an analog meter and EASY TO READ. Oversized cast aluminum vice for easy mounting of starter or alternators. Safely interlock prohibits testing unless belt guard is in place. Double-tension springs prevent pulley slippage. No battery required for testing. Universal test lead included (see photo). Choose lead set model 8516 (domestic models) or 8517 (import models) for easier hook-ups.  We also have the new Ford computer controlled lead available as model 8519. If you are testing generators, Model 8510 Generator Test Module is also available.
